R. Langston Spotts has been named Chief Executive Officer of Columbia Eye Clinic and Columbia Eye Surgery Center.  His responsibilities as CEO include oversight of operations, finance, health information technology, compliance, and business development for the three clinic locations and ambulatory surgery center.

Spotts holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance and Management and Masters in Healthcare Administration degrees from the University of South Carolina, Columbia.  Spotts was Chief Executive Officer at Columbia Cardiology, LLC from 2005-2012 and Assistant Vice President for Cardiovascular Administration at Lexington Medical Center from 2012-2014.  Spotts also served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of South Carolina, Arnold School of Public Heath from 2003-2013.  He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives.
