Columbia Eye Clinic Welcomes Dr. Stephen A. Cross

The 14 physicians and more than 100 staff of Columbia Eye Clinic welcome Stephen A. Cross, M.D. to the practice. Dr. Cross is a cornea specialist with clinical interests including comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract and refractive surgery, cornea surgery and transplantation and glaucoma surgery. He sees patients at the downtown Columbia and Lexington clinic locations.

Dr. Cross was fellowship-trained at Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his residency at the UAB Callahan Eye Hospital, University of Alabama Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama and internship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC and INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia.  He earned his M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.  He holds a B.S. degree from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Cornea Society, South Carolina Medical Association and South Carolina Society of Ophthalmology.
