National Ophthalmic Technicians Week is November 5-10, 2019 and Columbia Eye Clinic is celebrating our eyecare team! We thank them for all they do to take care of patients every day.

If you are interested in health and medicine, like working as part of a team, and love helping people, consider a career in ophthalmology.  A shortage of ophthalmic medical technicians is a growing problem. Most entry-level ophthalmic technician jobs only require a high school diploma and a willingness to learn on the job. A variety of continuing education and certification opportunities are also available to those who want to advance in the profession.
